Blessed Godsbrain Smart popularly known in Media showbiz as Captain Smart, who use to host ‘Dwaso Nsem’ on Adom FM has resigned from the Multimedia Group of Companies.
Captain Smart, who worked with Adom FM for 7 years, maintained consistency and have contributed alot in the growth of Multimedia.
Gifted with great oratory skills, Captain Smart was first heard on Adom FM on July 23, 2013 when he accepted the challenge to host ‘Dwaso Nsem’, one of the most listened-to morning show programmes in the capital.
Many had expected Captain to be jerky initially, considering the fact that he came to a more competitive market with bigger budgets from advertisers.
Captain is mostly known as a very firm, vivid, vociferous, belligerent and outspoken media personality especially when he is on radio with ‘Fabewoso’ popular segment of Adom FM’s Morning Show, ‘Dwaso Nsem’ which is also aired on Adom TV.
Captain Smart, in the course of his career, developed a rare camaderie and professional rapport with stakeholders and guests who appeared on the show, and as an arts and entertainment critic, he owes his sterling performance and meteoric success to his producers.
His passion for the less-privileged and the marginalised in society is legendary, as he has always played an advocacy role for them on radio.
Captain Smart who had his religious foundation rooted in the church of Pentecost has previously worked with OTEC FM, Kesewaa Radio and Fox FM all in the Garden City of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
Captain Smart Resigns from Multimedia in 2020
The Multimedia Group on Wednesday 27th May 2020 Official bid him farewell.
Leadership of the company, in parting ways with him, thanked him for the hard work he had rendered to the company and also for how impactful he had been in the media space.
Captain is rumoured to be moving together with Kofi Adomah to another Media Conglomerate: The Angel Group owned by Business Mogul Mr. Kwesi Oteng.
