Rev. Dr. Christie obtained a Certificate from Kings College Commercial Institute Kokomlemle on June 30th, 1975.
In April 1977 Archbishop Benson Idahosa held a Crusade at Kwame Nkrumah Circle where he distributed flyers all over himself!
A 21 year old Christie Doh Tetteh got one of the flyers and went for the crusade.
When she got there she wanted to sit on the dais (platform) with the Archbishop! Her reason was:
“The man of God personally invited me…”
After persistence her wish was granted!
But one thing which made a lasting impression on her that day was the ministration of THE QUASHIE SISTERS (3 Fat Ladies who were very good at singing in those days)
The Quarshie Sisters were affiliated with the Accra New Town Christian Fellowship that performed at Christian gatherings.
They mostly sang western gospels (This was way back before the emergency of the Tagoe Sisiters and Daughters of Glorious Jesus)
Their ministration imparted her!
Later she became the secretary to the legendary Archbishop for 12 years and that was the beginning of her Ministry!
She graduated from All Nations for Christ Bible Institute, Benin City, Nigeria in 1982.
She celebrated 43 years in Ministry in April 2020
